DR V. D. Sinha is One of the leading NeuroSurgeon in India. He did his M.Ch, Neurosurgery training from SMS medical college in 1989 and joined as faculty in the same institute, catering on the largest surgical workloads in India. He upgraded his Surgical Skills in Neuroendoscopy fellowship from ERNST MORTIZ ARDNT University, Greifswald, Germany and Neurovascular and Neuro-Oncology Surgery at Fujita Health University, Japan.

Regarding his contributions, Dr Sinha has given their efforts in Development of New Specialities in his Department by starting Paediatric Neurosurgery, Neurorehabilitation and 3D techniques.Regarding his interests in Research Activities, Dr Sinha likes to work on Cerebrovascular Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery & Neurotrauma etc.

VD Sinha is recipient of Innumerable National and International Awards, including State Awards for excellence in Neurosurgery. He has the privilege of being among few of the Neurosurgeons in Asia to be the Chairman Member of Neurorehabilitation Committee, Reconstructive Neurosurgery Committee of WFNS & Neurotrauma Committee of Asian- Australasian Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Besides being Executive Member of AANS & Corresponding Member of European Multidisciplinary Neurotrauma Society. He has been the President of Skull Base Surgery Society of India and Neurotrauma Society of India also.
